THE COMPANY'S HISTORY AND ACTIVITIES

SINCE 1874

The company Officine Meccaniche Vidali was founded in 1874 in Trieste, Italy, by Angelo Vidali, a young entrepreneur, who, after gaining significant experience within the Society for the Studies of the Suez Canal, decided to start up his own business.

Since then the company has been a benchmark for mechanical engineering. Year after year, it has grown thanks to the experience of Angelo's successors who, for four generations, have managed to make the business a growing success in the sector.

Special mechanical constructions and engineering projects are the strengths of the company, which, thanks to the professionalism of its qualified and enthusiastic team, has expanded the range of services and products it offers.

Officine Meccaniche Vidali designs and creates mechanical constructions in various areas, including lifting and transportation machinery for industrial and naval use and for oceanographic / offshore research. In this field, important machinery has been designed and made for the National Research Program in Antarctica.

Our quality management system for the design and manufacturing of machinery and mechanical / maintenance equipment of industrial plants is certified by TV in compliance with ISO 9001:2008.
